What's the endgame? The platform gives insurance carriers and Managing General Agents and Underwriters (MGAs/MGUs) ground-truth property and liability data that remote tools miss. It combines AI-driven analysis with a network of more than 7,000 verified field inspectors across the US.

Why now? Traditional physical inspections routinely take 30 days or more and return errors that require re-work. Beagle Labs says it turns orders around in 14 days or less, correctly the first time.

The platform was developed over three years and brought to market this year. It is already used by several carriers, MGAs/MGUs, and wholesale brokerages spanning commercial property and excess and surplus lines.

What's the money for? Beagle Labs will use the funding to accelerate platform development, expand its AI agents, strengthen support, and grow its team.

"Time is money in the property insurance business and we are not only automating the intelligence of underwriting, but reducing the significant manual research today's marketplace endures," said Dwight Neptune, co-founder and chief executive officer of Beagle Labs.

Chingona Ventures founding partner Samara Hernandez pointed to the gap the company targets. "The lack of timely, actionable and accurate information creates blind spots that increase exposure to risk for property insurance carriers," she said.

The signal: At $4.1 million, the round sits in the upper tier of pre-seed deals by size. That reflects investor appetite for insurtech that attacks slow, manual underwriting workflows with AI.
