Try Dealroom →, a Germany-based financial software firm that builds cloud-native and hybrid market data distribution platforms. Terms were undisclosed, though FactSet said the transaction will not have a material impact on its financial results.

What each side brings: FactSet is a global intelligence and AI solutions provider serving more than 9,100 clients and over 247,000 individual users. BCC GroupDealroom has a profile for this one. What's the endgame? FactSet folds BCC Group's modular ONE Platform into its Real-Time Solution Suite. The combined offering promises an open ecosystem — exchange feeds, third-party content, and proprietary data in one environment with centralised entitlements, compliance reporting, and cost controls.

Why now? FactSet said market data needs are shifting as trading moves toward 24-hour operations, AI reshapes workflows, and regulators tighten cross-vendor governance. It argued that firms are stuck building costly workarounds for systems never designed to be open or cloud-ready.

The two companies have collaborated since 2021, so the deal formalises an existing relationship. FactSet frames the combination as pairing its 25 years of real-time data investment with BCC Group's newer distribution architecture, giving clients one accountable partner for content and infrastructure.

What they're saying: "Clients have told us they don't just want another data vendor," said Brian Herte, FactSet's global head of market data and trading. BCC Group chief executive officer Mauricio Gonzalez Evans said the goal is to give institutions "a genuinely source-neutral alternative to today's lock-in."

The signal: The deal reflects a broader push in financial data toward open, modular, cloud-based systems as trading goes round-the-clock and AI raises the stakes. By buying rather than building distribution technology, FactSet is betting that flexibility — not just content — is where incumbents now compete.
