Cyera adds $400M to Series G at $12B valuation to secure the agentic enterprise

What's the endgame? Cyera is building what it calls a "trust layer" — a unified platform that governs data access for every human, machine, and AI agent across an enterprise. It secures data at rest, in motion, and in use, whether touched by people or AI agents.

Why now? As enterprises deploy AI agents that reason, use identities, and take action autonomously, security architecture built for people and applications struggles to keep up. Cyera argues this makes agents one of the fastest-growing security risks companies face.

The new capital will fund Cyera's AI security product roadmap, deeper expansion in the federal market, and international growth across EMEA and APAC.

This year the company extended its data controls to the agents acting on that data. Its acquisition of Oasis Security added non-human identity management, connecting where sensitive data lives with who — or what — can reach it. "Global 2000 enterprises are telling us the same thing: they need to trust what AI agents can see and do before they can scale them," said Yotam Segev, cofounder and chief executive officer of Cyera. "AI infrastructure is moving faster than the security architecture around it."

The signal: At $400 million, this ranks among the larger funding rounds of its window, a marker of how much capital is flowing toward securing AI. As Goldman's Irit Kahan put it, "Securing AI will be one of the defining categories in enterprise technology over the next decade."
