What's the endgame? The company builds clean-label, ready-to-cook products — soya chaap, kebabs, cutlets, and falafels — baked rather than fried, with no refined flour, preservatives, or palm oil. Its range is formulated to a 1:10 protein-to-calorie ratio and made entirely in-house.

Where the money goes: Most of the capital will fund setting up and scaling a manufacturing unit, with continued spend on R&D and supply chain.

Why now? Co-founded in November last year by Disha Bhattacharya and Prashanth Bhushan, Protein Pantry says it has served over 30,000 households. It sells direct-to-consumer across Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Jaipur, and on quick commerce platforms including Blinkit, FirstClub, and Flipkart MinutesDealroom has a profile for this one. The brand plans to enter Pune, Kolkata, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, and Chennai on quick commerce by year-end, targeting availability across major Indian cities over the next 12 to 24 months.

The signal: Protein Pantry is chasing a gap in a market built largely around supplements and snacks, and investors are following. Athena ProteinDealroom has a profile for this one.
