China's Platinum Electronics closes Series C from GF Fund's Ruichen Equity

What's the deal? Hangzhou Platinum Electronics has closed a Series C round, announced in September 2026. The investment came from Suzhou Wuzhong Ruichen Qingneng Venture Investment Partnership, a fund managed by Ruichen Equity, the private equity arm of GF Fund.

What does the company do? Platinum Electronics develops, designs, manufactures, and sells high-reliability power converters and system solutions. It focuses on power supply and integrated solar-storage-charging converter equipment for data computing centres, data network systems, renewable energy generation, electric transport, and battery storage.

Why now? The fund backing the round is the first dedicated private fund set up and managed by Ruichen Equity. Platinum Electronics is its sole investment target.

The signal: A single-target fund built around one company signals conviction in China's power-electronics supply chain, where data centres, renewables, and storage are converging on demand for efficient, reliable conversion hardware.
