What does it do? GoSprout's cloud-based software simplifies compliance paperwork for employers, apprentices, and funders. That process has long deterred employers from tapping federal, state, and county money set aside for training.
Why now? Co-founder and chief executive officer Carlos Vazquez says millions of dollars in US apprenticeship funding was going unused because documentation was too complex. Since launching in 2023, the platform has digitised more than 500,000 training records.
What's the endgame? Vazquez wants to build infrastructure that opens debt-free career pathways to more people. "Our goal is to build the infrastructure that makes apprenticeships easier to create, simpler to scale, and accessible to millions more people," he said.

The signal: The round sits at the 63rd percentile for deal size — a mid-sized seed that reflects steady, if not spectacular, appetite for workforce-training software. As employers face persistent talent gaps, tools that unlock idle public funding for apprenticeships have a clear commercial case.
