Taazaa acquires NetEffect to build enterprise AI orchestration layer

The deal was announced in September 2026; terms were not disclosed.
Why now? The acquisition follows a year-long partnership between the two companies. "We've already proven that our combined capabilities create something neither company could achieve alone," said Chris Becker, chief executive officer of NetEffect.
What's the endgame? Taazaa brings software development and AI deployment; NetEffect adds enterprise platform integrations, large system implementations, and long-standing client relationships. Together, they aim to sell enterprises an "orchestration layer" that connects AI to existing data, platforms, and business processes rather than another standalone tool.
What changes for customers? NetEffect clients gain access to Taazaa's AI services and product development practice, while Taazaa gains a systems integration business unit. The combined company will serve clients from offices in Ohio and New York, Toronto, and Noida and Pune in India.
Yasir Drabu, founder and chief executive officer of Taazaa, framed the strategy around incremental modernisation. "The real opportunity in AI is not simply deploying better models," he said. "It is redesigning workflows so intelligence, automation, data, and human judgment work together across the systems a business already depends on."
NetEffect has worked with organisations for over a decade across professional services, financial services, government and NGOs, media and entertainment, and energy.
The signal: The deal reflects a broader shift in enterprise technology, from AI experimentation toward integration with the systems companies already run. "We are not chasing AI hype," Drabu said. "We are focused on the harder and more valuable work of turning AI into a dependable operating capability."
