What does it do? Founded by Ankit Joshi and Sandeep Upadhyay, True Artis runs purpose-built aesthetic surgery centres with operating theatres, ICU backup, and private recovery suites. It aims to bridge the gap between large multispecialty hospitals, where aesthetics is rarely a focus, and standalone cosmetic clinics that lack surgical infrastructure.

The expansion: The company will use the capital to open two new centres in Delhi NCR over the next six to eight months, deepen its surgical and recovery capabilities, and expand its network of plastic surgeons. It plans to consolidate in Delhi NCR before entering other markets.

The numbers so far: True Artis operates two centres in Delhi and Gurgaon, working with around 20 plastic surgeons. It has served more than 10,000 clients and completed over 400 surgeries in the past nine months, reporting a 98% client satisfaction rate. Its first centre has reached EBITDA break-even, with revenue growing at a double-digit rate month-on-month.

The endgame: The founders say they want to build "a trusted aesthetic healthcare platform where clinical excellence, patient safety, transparency and experience are built into the model from day one." An in-house technology platform manages the full patient journey, from enquiry to post-operative recovery, to standardise care as the business grows.

The signal: The raise reflects investor interest in specialised, category-defining healthcare models in India — betting that patients will pay for hospital-grade safety paired with the privacy of a dedicated aesthetic centre.
