Try Dealroom →, a St. Petersburg, Florida-based clinical research operating platform working across 22 Latin American countries. Chief executive officer Mitchell Parrish stays on to lead the company.
What's the endgame? The money funds expansion of in-country clinical research staffing, community-based patient recruitment, and hybrid trial delivery for sponsors and contract research organisations (CROs). H Clinical runs its own local teams for site staffing, in-home study visits, sample collection, and regional logistics.
Why it matters: H Clinical says it operates the largest in-home trial, mobile site, logistics, and depot network in the region. "What we have spent six years building is difficult to build and impossible to shortcut," Parrish said, citing local relationships and infrastructure.
The hires: The company also added two executives. Ben Joers joins as chief financial officer, leading financial strategy and planning, while Eddie Hannush comes on as chief commercial officer to grow client partnerships and services.
Why now? Hannush framed the pitch around consolidation. "When staffing, recruitment, home visits and logistics run off one local platform, the study moves faster and the patient has a better experience," he said.
The signal: ESV describes itself as an operator-led platform that acquires and runs clinical research and life sciences businesses. The deal reflects growing investor interest in decentralised trials and in reaching patients in markets that traditional recruitment channels often miss.
