Why now? The funding lands alongside the i-Lab award, which AbTx won on September 16, 2026. The company is developing a new generation of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) aimed at solid tumours that have run out of treatment options.
What's the endgame? AbTx's patented platform, called Therano-Stick, uses enzymatic bio-conjugation to produce miniaturised ADCs known as fragment drug conjugates, or FDCs. It describes the approach as a "savoir-faire unique dans le monde" — a know-how unique in the world (translated from French).
By the numbers: The round sits in the 32.5th percentile by amount, placing it toward the lower end of comparable deals.
The signal: Early-stage funding for targeted oncology remains a live area, and AbTx's raise is a modest first step to validate a novel platform in a crowded ADC field.
