What does it do? Launched in October 2025 and free on iOS and Android, Brewtifi helps users discover specialty coffee, cafés, roasteries, and events across Europe. The app has over 20,000 users and lists more than 8,500 specialty cafés and over 180 roasteries.

What's the endgame? The money will fund product development, community growth, and Brewtifi's role as a discovery platform for European coffee culture. It recently added a Communities feature connecting enthusiasts with coffee experts and each other.

Ștefănescu framed the backing as a long-term bet. "I look forward to the moment when I tell my children, over a coffee, how happy I am that I invested in Brewtifi from the start," he said (translated from Romanian).

Why the investors care: Savopol pointed to shifting habits among younger, digitally connected consumers. "The way people consume coffee has changed a lot in recent years, and we're not just talking about what's in the cup, but about belonging, socialising, the places we choose to go for a coffee," he said (translated from Romanian).

The signal: Brewtifi's fast follow-on round shows appetite for consumer platforms that sit at the intersection of tech and food and beverage. The bet is that specialty coffee discovery — cafés, roasteries, and communities — can scale into a pan-European network before rivals crowd the space.
