Sweden's Aday raises $250K to untangle recruitment chaos
What's the deal? Swedish startup Aday SystemsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has raised US$302.2K (roughly $250,000) in an early-stage round to build a platform that consolidates the recruitment process into one place. The round drew state-backed venture firm Almi Invest, Annexstruktur, KICK CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, and several angel investors.
What's the endgame? Founded in 2024 in Kalmar, Aday targets recruitment, search, staffing, and consultancy firms that work with external clients. Its platform aims to replace scattered email threads, feedback documents, and status updates across separate systems with a single tool for collaboration.
Why now? The company is in an early commercial phase and wants to add paying customers and build a scalable business model. The idea grew from founder Sanaz Fritz's own experience of communication breaking down between recruiters and clients.
"A recruitment is essentially a project where several people need to collaborate and make decisions, but the tools are rarely built for that collaboration," said Fritz, chief executive officer of Aday Systems (translated from Swedish).
Alongside capital, Almi Invest will contribute board work and strategic support. Investment manager Emma Burman said the founding team was the deciding factor: "Sanaz has herself experienced the problem and built a solution based on real needs" (translated from Swedish). Fritz is joined by Mattias Arbin, focused on software development and architecture, and Magnus Karlsson, who covers business development and IT.
The signal: At about $250,000, the round sits in the smallest tier of venture deals — a modest bet on an unproven product in an early market. For Aday, it is validation and, just as importantly, access to the network and expertise of experienced backers as it hunts for its first wave of paying customers.
