Try Dealroom → have completed a merger to form Kincellis Advanced TherapiesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a US contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) focused on cell therapies and other advanced modalities. Terms were undisclosed. Darren Head serves as chief executive officer, with Larry Pitcher as president.

What's the endgame? Kincellis combines Kincell's depth in immune-cell technologies with Cellipont's experience across stem cells, iPSCs, MSCs, dendritic cells, exosomes, and emerging mRNA-enabled approaches. The goal is to support both autologous and allogeneic therapies from early development through commercial supply within one organization.

By the numbers: The combined company operates roughly 140,000 square feet across three sites in Gainesville, Florida; Research Triangle Park, North Carolina; and The Woodlands, Texas. Its network includes 16 qualified GMP manufacturing suites and more than 200 team members.

Track record: Together, the two companies have released more than 150 GMP batches for clients and are supporting 10 IND filings this year.

"Kincell and Cellipont are highly complementary in their science, facilities and the stages of development they serve," Head said. He added the merger offers customers "a more connected path from process and analytical development through late-stage manufacturing."

Why it matters: Pitcher said the priority is to "maintain continuity for every customer" while building "a common platform that can scale with customer needs."

The signal: The merger reflects consolidation among CDMOs racing to offer end-to-end capacity as cell and gene therapies move from clinical trials toward commercial supply. Scale and breadth of modalities are becoming key competitive levers in a fragmented advanced-therapies market.
