The company develops systems to monitor kidney function and manage fluid balance in intensive care patients.
By the numbers: The round follows a $14 million raise two years ago. FIZE had raised $30 million to date; the full Series B would bring total funding to $50 million.
What's the endgame? Its FIZE kUO system provides real-time digital monitoring of urine output to support precision fluid management. The new capital will accelerate FIZE Optima, a next-generation platform designed to use continuous physiological data and AI to predict fluid-related risks and guide clinical decisions.
Why now? About 50% of intensive care patients develop acute kidney injury during hospitalisation, a condition with a mortality rate above 20%. Early detection can significantly reduce morbidity and mortality.

The signal: The deal ties a Japanese strategic investor's distribution muscle to an Israeli startup's clinical AI ambitions — a pairing that turns a supply relationship into a bet on predictive ICU care.
