What's the endgame? Clear IP is a technology platform that supports idea capture and strategic IP workflows. It combines an expert team, an Idea Capture app, and an online IP Manager to move innovators from idea to a complete US patent filing faster and cheaper than traditional routes.

Why now? Chief executive officer and co-founder Jim Joyce said the company built the platform in response to "the pressures traditional patent filing placed on early-stage start-ups and founders." What's the money for? Clear IP plans to expand its patent capabilities and shorten filing timelines through automation. The goal, Shattock said, is "to serve more innovators worldwide."
