CGF Holdings backs MediPro Direct, returning the Grant family to diagnostics
What's the deal? CGF Holdings has made a strategic investment in MediPro Direct, a nationwide provider of mobile diagnostics services, the firm announced on September 16, 2026. The private placement marks the Grant family's return to the diagnostics services space, where it has historical roots.
What does MediPro do? Founded in 2006, the company connects clinical trial sponsors, life insurers, pharmaceutical companies, specialty labs, and senior care and healthcare organisations with a network of more than 15,000 background-checked mobile medical providers across all 50 states. It coordinates specimen collection, health screenings, and paramedical examinations through its Quality First rating system and case management software.
Why now? Demand for home-based services is climbing. "With the rising demand for home-based services, the mobile market is growing rapidly," said Ryan Janeway, chief executive officer of MediPro Direct.
What's the endgame? The investment positions MediPro Direct for its next phase of growth. The funds will help it expand its provider network, enhance its technology platform, and pursue new partnerships across the clinical trial, life insurance, specialty lab, senior care, and wellness markets it serves.
The backer's view: CGF frames the deal as a fit with its industry background. "Our family has a long history in this industry, and MediPro Direct's team, network, technology, and reputation for exceptional quality make it exactly the kind of platform we want to partner with," said Joey Grant, managing partner of CGF Holdings.
The signal: The tie-up reflects investor interest in mobile, home-based healthcare delivery, as diagnostics moves beyond clinics to meet patients where they are.
