The Durango, Colorado startup turns code, collaboration, tickets, and agent runs into what it calls a ground-truth view of engineering work.
How it works: RadiantOps connects to the systems a team already uses and groups related activity into episodes — what changed, where it came from, who understood it, and how it compares with the team's own history. Because agents now produce a large share of that work, the product marks which changes an agent wrote, what they cost, and how often they have to be redone.
Why now? The engineering dashboard was built for a time when code moved at the speed of human hands. Agents changed that: the volume of work has risen sharply, and the constraint has shifted from writing code to judging it.
The pitch: "A team is not a percentile," said Travis Kimmel, co-founder and chief executive officer. "Knowledge lives in particular people and moves between them along paths no benchmark can see."
The track record: Kimmel and Ben Thompson founded GitPrime in Durango in 2015, one of the first companies to measure engineering work from version-control data. The Y Combinator alumni (W16) sold it to Pluralsight for $170 million in cash in 2019, spawning a wave of competitors.
What's the endgame? "When an agent can produce the code quickly, the limiting work becomes deciding what should exist and what the organization is prepared to maintain," Kimmel said. RadiantOps will use the funding to grow its engineering team and reach more organizations.
The signal: The $7 million round sits above the 93rd percentile for US fintech seed deals, a sign of investor appetite for tools that measure how AI reshapes the work itself. As agents generate more code, the market is moving from counting output to judging it.
