Star Gold opens Nevada gold project to public investors via Regulation A
What's the deal? Star Gold Corp.Dealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → (OTCQB: SRGZ) has launched a Regulation A public offering, letting non-accredited investors buy directly into its Longstreet Gold-Silver Project in Nevada. The Coeur d'Alene, Idaho company is pitching perks unavailable on the open market, including bonus shares and physical silver or gold bars.
What's the endgame? Longstreet is designed as a conventional open-pit, heap leach operation in Nevada's Walker Lane Belt. Proceeds will fund final permitting, resource expansion drilling, and advancement of the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) required for production approval.
The numbers: A December 2025 technical report identified about 213,000 gold-equivalent ounces — 132,414 ounces of gold and 4,839,931 ounces of silver — defined on less than 2% of the land Star Gold controls. Metallurgical testing confirmed 80% gold recovery within the first 20 days of leaching, and the project carries a favourable 0.92:1 strip ratio. Eight additional exploration targets sit on the property.
Why now? Gold has climbed above $4,000 per ounce as investors turn to the metal as a safe haven amid geopolitical and economic uncertainty. Central bank buying and ETF inflows are at record levels.
Permitting momentum: Star Gold has secured US Forest Service Plan of Operations approval, Bureau of Land Management sign-off to advance development, completed baseline studies, and private water rights. The EIS process is now underway; the company estimates roughly 12 months to complete it before a potential final production permit.
What could go wrong? The offering hinges on regulatory approvals that are not yet complete, and the EIS timeline is an estimate. As an OTCQB-listed developer, Star Gold's fortunes remain tied to volatile gold prices.
What they said: "With most key regulatory approvals now in hand and gold remaining a safe haven for investors, we believe the conditions for this project have never been stronger," said chief executive officer Lindsay Gorrill.
The signal: Nevada produced 75% of US gold in 2024, and Star Gold's move to open a heap leach developer to everyday investors reflects how record gold prices are drawing retail capital into early-stage mining — a segment once reserved for accredited backers.
