What's the endgame? Opio collects, verifies, and structures data — work that traditionally takes auditors several weeks by hand. It says the technology saves transaction services professionals 27% of their time.
Who's behind it? Founded in Paris in 2025 by Tristan Fulchiron and Olivier Chancé. Fulchiron previously led engineering organisations for the French state, including at the Ministry of Defence, before advising the Minister of the Interior. Chancé built engineering and data teams at startups and scaleups in Brazil and France.

What the money is for. The company generates 15% of its revenue outside France and aims to reach 50% within a year, with France, the UK, and Germany its key growth markets. A second product is planned for early 2027, and it has begun working with statutory auditors on certification work.
What Opio says. "A large share of junior professionals' time currently goes on collecting, checking and adjusting data before it can be interpreted," Fulchiron said. "The core of the job remains human: understanding a business by talking to its management, interpreting its numbers with professional judgement."
The signal: Opio's raise sits among the larger seed rounds in its class. It reflects investor appetite for AI tools that automate repetitive professional-services work while leaving analysis and judgement to humans.
