OpenBet buys OmniLogic to deepen its grip on the lottery betting market
What's the deal? OpenBetDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has agreed to acquire OmniLogicDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a Hungary-based sportsbook technology provider, for an undisclosed sum. The deal, announced September 15, 2026, is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close later this year.
What each side brings: OpenBet supplies sports betting and platform solutions to World Lottery Association (WLA) members worldwide. OmniLogic, based principally in Győr, has spent over a decade powering retail, online, and mobile betting for lottery operators across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
What's the endgame? The acquisition adds OmniLogic's operator partnerships and specialist expertise across trading, risk management, and back-office functions to OpenBet's global business.
"Lotteries remain the core focus of our growth strategy," said Nikos Konstakis, president at OpenBet, calling the deal "a natural extension of that strategy."
What changes for customers? OmniLogic's team will join OpenBet, keeping the specialist knowledge and continuity clients rely on while gaining access to a larger product portfolio.
Co-founders Vicente Torrejón and Dávid Márk Gábor said joining OpenBet "brings the additional scale, capabilities and product portfolio" to their customers "while maintaining the specialist knowledge and continuity they value today."
The signal: Consolidation continues among betting technology providers as operators seek fewer, larger partners able to serve tightly regulated markets. By absorbing a specialist rather than building in-house, OpenBet is buying both talent and established relationships in a sector where trust and compliance carry weight.
