What does it do? Founded in 2018, Cubicup offers homeowners a single point of contact, fixed budgets and timelines, and digital tracking across each phase of a renovation. It says the approach delivers 95% average accuracy on cost and schedule and cuts delivery times by roughly 30% versus traditional processes.

Why now? Cubicup argues the renovation sector is highly fragmented, poorly digitised, and short on skilled labour, leaving customers uncertain about costs, timelines, and execution. The company operates in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, and Málaga with a team of more than 50, and has reformed over 800 homes since launch.

What's the endgame? The money will fund development of Cubicup OS and its artificial intelligence agents, strengthen its commercial and operational capacity, and consolidate its market position. In 2026 so far, it has 110 projects delivered or in progress.

The signal: For Suma Capital, the deal fits SC Climate Tech Ventures I's focus on companies that can speed the climate transition in strategic sectors. The built environment, the investor notes, is among the areas with the most transformation potential given its impact on energy consumption, emissions, and housing quality.
