Pave Finance raises $15M Series A for AI wealth platform at $100M valuation

What's the deal? Pave Finance, a New York-based fintech, has raised more than $15 million in an oversubscribed Series A round, valuing the AI-powered portfolio management platform at $100 million. The capital will fund hiring across engineering and market-facing roles.

Who backed it? The round drew a mix of advisory firms, company insiders, and former executives and board members from prominent US financial services institutions.

What's the endgame? Pave uses AI to help Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) build and manage personalised portfolios at scale. Advisors on the platform already oversee more than $130 billion across 300,000 accounts.

How it works: The platform tracks over 50,000 publicly traded securities globally, letting advisors manage multi-asset portfolios while excluding specific sectors, accounting for tax, and optimising for risk tolerance. It integrates with custodians to speed up client onboarding.

Why now? "As advisory businesses grow, firms must now find efficient ways to manage a larger volume of clients who are simultaneously demanding greater personalization in their portfolios," said chief executive officer Christopher Ainsworth. The round follows a $14 million seed raise in September 2025.

Who's behind it? Pave's leadership brings over 200 years of collective experience, with veterans from Goldman SachsDealroom has a profile for this one. The signal: The raise reflects accelerating demand for automated wealth management as advisors seek to scale personalised portfolios without added operational load. The global wealth management market is projected to reach $217.44 trillion in assets under management by 2031.
