What's the deal? Fonn GroupDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has acquired the remaining shares in evervizDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a cloud-native platform for interactive charts, maps, and data-driven graphics, taking full ownership. Terms were not disclosed. Fonn will bring the technology forward under a new name: TeiknaDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →.
What's the endgame? Teikna becomes Fonn's graphics platform for broadcast, streaming, and digital media. It carries over everviz's foundation in open web standards and APIs, paired with Fonn's cloud production workflows.
What changes for customers? Existing everviz charting and mapping capabilities continue uninterrupted. As Teikna develops, Fonn plans close integrations with Saga, its newsroom system, and MimirDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, its media collaboration and production platform.
To lead Teikna, Fonn appointed Christian Gogstad Eide as chief technology officer, working directly with Fonn on the platform's technical direction. Eide spent nearly 15 years at Norwegian public broadcaster NRKDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, where he co-created Nora, its HTML-based graphics solution, and worked across national elections, sports, and entertainment productions.
Why now? Fonn will show a technology preview of Teikna at IBC 2026, in Hall 7 stand A53. "IBC is where we will start," said Fonn chief executive officer Haavard Myklebust.
In their words: "everviz has built deep expertise in charts, maps, and data visualization. With Teikna, that expertise gets a bigger canvas," Myklebust said.
The signal: Broadcast graphics are shifting toward web-based, cloud-native tools that span multiple screens and roles. "Graphics are no longer created by one type of person, in one tool, or for one screen," Eide said. By absorbing everviz, Fonn is betting that flexible, standards-based graphics belong at the centre of modern production workflows.
