Try Dealroom →, an AI-native electronic medical record (EMR) built for urgent care centers, has raised a $15 million Series A growth investment led by Five Elms CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →. The New York-based company will use the money to expand its product and grow its team.

What's the endgame? Founded by Nat Gibbs, UrgentIQ wants to be the "operating system" for urgent care. The funding will accelerate a native billing module, AI-powered diagnosis and coding, live insurance verification, and an AI checkout agent.

Why now? Unlike legacy EMRs adapted from hospital and primary care settings, UrgentIQ was built around urgent care's economics, where speed, documentation, coding, and collections are tightly linked. Customers reported faster patient throughput after adopting it.

The round sits above the median for its stage, and customer sentiment is a selling point: UrgentIQ cites a 9.7/10 average satisfaction rating.

"UrgentIQ has built a platform with exceptional operator adoption and product satisfaction, and the metrics reflect it," said Joe Onofrio, partner at Five Elms Capital.

The signal: As the urgent care market consolidates around private equity-backed platforms and multi-site groups, UrgentIQ is betting purpose-built, AI-native software can win both independent operators and larger networks looking for a modern, scalable system.
