Corvenia raises $1.8M to simplify group finance reporting

What's the deal? CorveniaDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, a Stockholm-based group-management software startup, has raised SEK 17 million (roughly $1.8 million) in a directed share issue ahead of its commercial launch in October. The company was founded in August 2025 by SimplifaiDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → founder Bård Myrstad, alongside Imran Tamboli, Daniel Kohn, and Tedd Hansen.

What's the endgame? Corvenia builds a platform that connects to a group's existing ERP systems and collects, normalises, and consolidates financial data at the transaction level. The aim is to give management comparable figures across subsidiaries without switching systems.

Why now? The startup moved its headquarters from Oslo to Stockholm in June, making Swedish entity Corvenia AB the parent. The round arrived the following month, with proceeds earmarked for building a commercial organisation centred in Sweden.

The company would not name its investors or disclose a valuation, saying the founders also participated. "We have brought in very experienced Swedish investors who have previously helped scale up Swedish tech and AI successes," said co-founder and adviser Øivind Horpestad (translated from Norwegian). Horpestad has served as chief executive officer at NRC GroupDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, Inin GroupDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, and Qben InfraDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →.

By the numbers: More than 120 companies already run on the platform without any active marketing, according to Horpestad, integrated across a range of ERP systems. Several customers are listed firms in Norway and Sweden; publicly known ones include Qben Infra, DekkverketDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, and Cube StorageDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →. Corvenia would not disclose paying-customer counts or revenue but said all customers move to a paid plan after the test period.

What could go wrong? Consolidation software is an established market, with players such as LucanetDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, OneStream, Aaro, and Konsolidator long in place. Horpestad argues Corvenia attacks it differently: "Consolidation has been a consultant-driven industry" (translated from Norwegian), he said, contending a group can now go live in hours without consultants.

The signal: Corvenia is betting that self-serve, ERP-connected tooling can undercut the costly, consultant-heavy projects that have defined group financial consolidation — and it is building that bet from Sweden.
