The investors: Koshidaka Holdings brings store-rollout experience from carving out the CurvesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → fitness business and expanding karaoke venues nationwide. One Capital invests across the wellness and SaaS space. The round combined equity and bank borrowing, and lifts MIRROR FIT's total raised to date to about 1.2 billion JPY.

By the numbers: MIRROR FIT now runs 16 stores across Japan, with roughly 2,800 members and monthly transaction volume topping about 26 million JPY. Among franchisees, the rate of existing owners opening additional stores within a year sits at 100%.

What's the endgame? MIRROR FIT is targeting a 300-store network within four years, with a longer-term vision of 1,000 outlets. Most of the new funding goes into organisational infrastructure — store development, franchise support, marketing, and system development — to sustain that expansion.

Where it's expanding: The company plans to accelerate HITORI WELLNESS nationwide, with a particular focus on regional Japan, where it argues women lack convenient options to keep up beauty and health routines. New store openings include HITORI WELLNESS Meito Inokoishi, opened September 10, 2026.

Why now? Chief executive officer Kou Kou said the priority is making current franchise owners successful rather than simply chasing new ones. "One store increasing at a time, that's how existing owners come to open a second and third," he said (translated from Japanese), pointing to owner success as the route to 1,000 stores.

The signal: MIRROR FIT is betting that a franchise model powered by proprietary content — original lessons, live events, and IP built around the MIRROR FIT. platform — can turn wellness into recurring, defensible value. The raise underscores continued investor appetite for tech-enabled, women-focused fitness formats that blend physical stores with software.
