What's the endgame? Researchers using the Pre Platform can tap NVIDIA AI libraries and frameworks, including NeMo, Parabricks, RAPIDS, and B200 GPUs. Using that stack, the two developed Forecast 1.0, a foundation model that combines genomics and electronic health record data to improve long-term health risk prediction.
"We are pleased to welcome NVIDIA as a new investor in Verily," said chairman and chief executive officer Stephen Gillett. He said the investments "accelerate our vision to build a trusted foundation for healthcare."
The signal: NVIDIA is deepening its footprint in healthcare AI by pairing capital with its compute stack, turning a technology partner into a shareholder — a model that ties chip demand to the data platforms building on it.
