Try Dealroom →, a New York-based AI monetization platform for subscription apps, has raised $1.5 million in seed funding, according to filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission. What's the endgame? Botsi helps consumer-facing digital businesses show the right price and paywall to each user in real time, rather than relying on a single price or slow A/B tests. It plugs in via an API and trains a custom model on each app's own data to predict individual lifetime value, then selects the optimal paywall, offer, and price within approved guardrails.

The platform handles subscription validation, entitlement tracking, paywall configuration, and experimentation. Botsi says it operates autonomously inside products, "like an in-house team of machine learning experts" continuously optimising pricing.

Why it matters: Botsi claims early deployments of its first-generation model delivered up to 75% lifts in lifetime value within weeks, with top customers approaching a doubling of monetized revenue in about 30 days. It offers fixed-bracket pricing with a performance guarantee that refunds subscriptions if measurable revenue improvement is not achieved.

Chief executive officer Jacob Rushfinn leads the company, which operates from New York with additional US offices.

The signal: At $1.5 million, the round sits in the lower tier of seed deals — roughly the 29th percentile by amount. But it reflects investor appetite for AI tools that attach directly to revenue, promising measurable returns rather than broad efficiency gains. For subscription apps squeezed by rising acquisition costs, individualised pricing is becoming a competitive lever.
