"Charging infrastructure only works at scale if it connects across operators, and that only happens through open standards," said Sebastian Wolff, chief technology officer and co-founder. "The charging side is live, our next milestone is the transport management domain."
The signal: At €3.5 million, FRYTE's seed sits above roughly 92% of all-time seed rounds in transportation, a sign of investor conviction in charging coordination. Pauline Wink, founding partner at 4impact capital, argues electric trucks are nearing cost parity with diesel across Europe, pushing fleets from tens of thousands today toward hundreds of thousands by 2030. "What is missing is not more chargers or more software, but a layer that makes logistics, charging and energy systems work together," she said.
