Wuwen Zhixing raises hundreds of millions of yuan in Series A for physical AI data
What's the deal? Beijing Wuwen Zhixing Technology has closed a Series A round worth hundreds of millions of yuan to build data infrastructure for physical AI. What's the endgame? Wuwen builds infrastructure for training embodied AI, connecting real-world data collection, automated production, simulation, and evaluation into what it calls a Real2Sim2Real loop. Its platform "Wuyin" and world simulator "Wuqiong" sit at the centre of a "world model × data factory × world simulator" system.
Why now? As embodied AI moves from demos into real deployments, competition is shifting from robots and models toward the underlying data and simulation layer. The company says it has accumulated hundreds of thousands of hours of high-quality real physical-interaction data, producing more than 20,000 hours a month.
By the numbers: Wuwen says orders for its embodied AI business have reached hundreds of millions of yuan, up more than 3,000% year on year, with revenue expected to grow over 1,000%. It reports top-customer coverage above 80% and a repurchase rate above 80%.
What could go wrong? Much of the company's edge rests on unproven claims of scale — a millions-strong SimReady asset library and efficiency gains it puts at 300 to 1,000 times. Sustaining a re-raise pace and triple-digit growth depends on those systems delivering measurable model gains at scale.
The signal: The round — a quick re-raise after an earlier large financing this year — reflects capital moving upstream in embodied AI, from robots and foundation models toward data infrastructure. "The industry's centre of gravity is migrating from robot bodies and embodied large models toward the upstream data-infrastructure track," founder and chief executive officer Liu Shengxiang said.
