What do they do? Oxalys, based in La Garenne-Colombes, covers the full procurement cycle — strategic sourcing, contract lifecycle management, supplier relations, procure-to-pay and spend management — with native links to major ERP and finance systems. cisbox sells "Office of the CFO" software, focused on accounting automation, payment processing and operational purchasing.

What's the endgame? The combined group now spans the entire Source-to-Pay value chain. Oxalys adds sourcing, contracts and supplier expertise to cisbox's existing accounting and payments capabilities, with promised investment in the platform — artificial intelligence first among them.

Why now? This is cisbox's third acquisition since partnering with Main Capital Partners, part of a buy-and-build strategy. The deal extends the group into France, adding to its footprint across the DACH region and the Nordics.

What changes for customers? Oxalys keeps its presence and organisation in France, retaining its teams and local partners while gaining access to an international network. "Uniting our strengths with cisbox opens an exciting new chapter for Oxalys," said Laurent Guillot, chief executive officer of Oxalys.

cisbox employs more than 200 people across Germany, Norway and Vietnam, and serves over 7,900 clients. Christof Majer, chief executive officer of cisbox, called the deal "an important step in our international buy-and-build growth strategy" (translated from French).

The signal: Private equity-backed roll-ups continue to consolidate Europe's fragmented procurement and finance software market, assembling national specialists into cross-border platforms pitched at the office of the CFO.
