DaMENSCH raises $2.1M Series B at flat $63.5M valuation

What's the deal? Indian direct-to-consumer menswear brand DaMENSCH has raised 174 million INR ($2.1 million) in a Series B round from existing investor A91 PartnersDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and new backer Tancom Electronics. A91 put in 150 million INR for 887 convertible preference shares, while Tancom added 24 million INR.

Why flat? The round values DaMENSCH at roughly 6 billion INR ($63.5 million) — broadly in line with its earlier $70–75 million range. That signals a market where apparel startups are judged on their path to profitability rather than growth alone.

What's the endgame? Founded in 2018 by Anurag Saboo and Gaurav Pushkar, DaMENSCH sells innerwear, casualwear, and everyday essentials through its own site and online marketplaces. It plans to use the new capital for operations and future growth.

By the numbers: DaMENSCH has now raised more than $28 million to date, including a $16.6 million Series B led by A91 in February 2022. In FY25, revenue rose 34% to 1.18 billion INR; FY26 figures are not yet reported.

Who owns what? A91 remains the largest shareholder at 22.45%, followed by Matrix at 12.76%, Saama CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → at 11.14%, and Whiteboard CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → at 9.61%. Co-founders Saboo and Pushkar each hold 10.87%.

The signal: A top-up at an unchanged valuation, six years after launch, shows how India's crowded D2C fashion space has cooled. Capital is still flowing — but now it comes on tighter terms.
