Phantasma Labs raises €2.6M seed to modernise factory planning with AI
What's the deal? Berlin-based Phantasma LabsDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has raised a €2.6 million seed round led by Czech firm Jet InvestmentDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, which put in €2.1 million to become the largest single backer. Lighthouse Seed Fund II also participated. The deal is Jet's tenth through its Jet Venture 1 fund.
What's the endgame? Founded in 2018, Phantasma builds an AI-native Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) platform for complex, disruption-prone factories. It generates production plans in seconds and continuously replans as conditions change, using reinforcement learning and graph neural networks trained in digital twin environments.
Why does it matter? Production planning still runs largely on legacy systems, heuristics, or spreadsheets that take minutes to hours to update and break down under machine failures, demand swings, or supply delays. Phantasma's approach does not require the large historical datasets rival AI systems depend on.
Why now? "Production planning is one of the least modernized layers of industrial software, and it has become steadily more brittle as manufacturing complexity has risen," said Kamil Levinský, managing director of Jet VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →.
Crucially, Jet owns industrial manufacturers where the software can be tested. "We own industrial manufacturing companies, and this software will be tested and deployed on our own shop floor," Levinský said. Phantasma has already completed multiple paid enterprise proofs of concept across the US, Europe, and Japan.
Founder and chief executive officer Ramakrishna Nanjundaiah framed the fit directly: "Factories do not fail because someone made a bad plan on Monday. They fail because the plan stopped being true by Tuesday, and nobody could rebuild it fast enough."
The signal: The round sits in the top 10% of all-time seed deals for virtual reality startups in Germany, marking a strong entry point. It also reflects a broader push by industrial private equity into venture, pairing startup software with the real factory floors needed to prove it.
