Hiasynth raises angel round to model Europe's 500M consumers

What's the deal? AI startup HiasynthDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → has raised an angel round led by Further Than CapitalDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → to build a queryable synthetic model of Europe's population. The company has created half a billion synthetic personas across 37 countries, each with more than 600 co-varying attributes. Any company can query the model to analyse a consumer market anywhere in Europe.

What's the endgame? Each persona is plausible but entirely synthetic, spanning income, housing, consumption, habits, and values. Hiasynth mapped 3.7 million micro-zones and placed every persona inside a household. "That is what makes the consumption patterns real," says founder Emma Agering.

Why now? Europe has never behaved like a single market — each country carries its own language, consumption patterns, and research bill. That fragmentation has pushed many European companies to expand to the US before a neighbouring country.

Who's backing it? Further Than Capital led the round, joined by three angel investors. Its portfolio includes early positions in Lovable and Blackwall. The capital funds product development and launch ahead of a planned seed round.

"We back founders before ideas, and Emma has built startups before," says Per Björklund of Further Than Capital.

How it works: Hiasynth launches in September 2026 at Bits & Pretzels in Munich, Germany. It will be available through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard that lets AI assistants such as ClaudeDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → and ChatGPTDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom → query external tools and data directly.

The signal: Market intelligence has long been priced for enterprise, but Agering argues "that price is about to collapse." Investor Stefan Lindeberg, co-founder of Creandum, frames the appeal: language models are good at plausible answers and bad at knowing whether they are true. "Hiasynth replaces the guess with a population the model can actually reason over."
