Wonderful raises $550M Series C at $5B valuation for enterprise AI OS
What's the deal? Amsterdam-based Wonderful has raised $550 million in a Series C round at a $5 billion valuation. Insight Partners led, with Salesforce and existing backers Index Ventures, IVP, Vine VenturesDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, 9Yards, and Bessemer Venture Partners joining.
What's the endgame? Wonderful builds what it calls an AI operating system: a shared layer that coordinates agents, workflows, AI-native applications, integrations, and governed execution across an enterprise. The platform is open, model-agnostic, and can run on any cloud environment, including on-premise.
The money will go towards product development, expanding global deployment teams, and meeting enterprise demand, the company said. Its forward-deployed engineers work alongside customers to get a first use case into production, then hand over the capability so clients can run the platform themselves.
Why now? Since its Series B in March 2026, Wonderful has grown to 650 employees and expanded to more than 35 markets. The company frames the round as a bet on enterprises moving from isolated AI pilots to organisation-wide deployment.
What's in the product? The AI OS bundles four core products: managed workflows to automate end-to-end processes; productivity agents to support employees; AI-native applications to complement or replace legacy software; and conversational agents for customer-facing work. Each can be deployed alone or combined, with shared governance and security.
Chief executive officer and co-founder Bar Winkler drew a comparison to an earlier shift. "Just as cloud platforms became the foundation of the modern enterprise, AI operating systems will become the foundation of every enterprise," he said, warning that without a shared layer, "AI risks recreating the sprawl of traditional SaaS."
Jeff Horing, co-founder and managing director of Insight Partners, said Wonderful is "pursuing one of the largest opportunities in enterprise AI," building "the operating layer that allows enterprises to scale AI across the entire organization" rather than a single department.
The signal: The raise sits in the 99th percentile of Series C rounds for its sector and region — among 314 comparable deals, one of the largest on record. That scale, alongside Salesforce joining the cap table, points to sustained investor conviction that the enterprise AI stack still has a foundational layer left to claim.
