Motion plans to use the capital to move five existing industrial, warehouse and logistics pilots in Belgium into commercial production, expand its team and increase its robot fleet, initially across the Benelux region.

What Motion provides: Motion operates a hardware-agnostic Humanoids-as-a-Service platform. Rather than asking customers to buy robots and build an internal robotics function, the company bundles deployment, data collection, robot selection, task training, IT integration, fleet management, financing, insurance, compliance and maintenance into a predictable monthly fee. Its model is designed to reduce the upfront capital and operational complexity that can make humanoid adoption difficult for industrial customers.

Deployment model: Motion's platform takes customers from an operational assessment to production. Its engineers audit the site, recommend the appropriate humanoid platform for each use case, integrate the robot with existing systems and train operators. The company says its current pilots cover tasks such as loading goods into crates, packing containers into boxes and placing components on conveyor belts. Its software layer is intended to retain customer control of operational data while allowing deployment experience to be reused across the network. Motion is also launching a partner programme for system integrators and automation specialists, enabling them to deploy humanoids for their own customers through the platform.

Market context: Motion is positioning the subscription model as an answer to labour shortages in European manufacturing. Its proposition addresses financing, integration, regulatory and operational requirements alongside the technology itself, while remaining open to robots from multiple manufacturers.
