The Indian faith-tech startup will use the capital to strengthen its AI-led products, expand internationally, and scale its Pooja Seva and spiritual commerce businesses.

What's the endgame? Founded in 2021 by Nitin Verma, InstaAstro has grown from an on-demand astrology app into what it calls a full-stack spiritual wellness platform. It now offers consultations across astrology, tarot, numerology, and vastu, plus Pooja Seva, which lets customers book rituals at sacred shrines across India.

By the numbers: Revenue rose from ₹52 crore in FY25 to ₹111.26 crore in FY26, and the company recently crossed ₹200 crore in annualised revenue run-rate. Its registered user base has grown to roughly 12 million, with international markets contributing about 25% of revenue.

Why now? The raise follows a sharp acceleration in InstaAstro's business, which serves users across 183 countries through more than 5,000 verified experts. A portion of the funding will go towards AI-led product development, including sentiment analysis and multilingual capabilities to improve consultation quality.

The bet: Artha Venture Fund, which first backed InstaAstro in its 2021 seed round, credits the growth to trust and repeat usage rather than heavy discounting. "The first consultation is marketing. The second one is a business," said Anirudh A. Damani, managing partner at Artha Venture Fund.

The signal: At $12 million, the round sits comfortably in the upper tier of series A deals, a notable mark for a spiritual wellness category still proving its commercial staying power. Verma frames the mission plainly: "We're committed to building the world's most trusted spiritual platform by prioritising quality over quantity."
