The platform combines venture capital, company building and design, aiming to help frontier-technology businesses scale from early products into global companies. Navisalma is headquartered in Stockholm and describes its model as an integrated operating platform rather than a conventional investment fund or standalone design consultancy.

Navisalma says it plans to back at least 10 new global leaders over the next 10 years, with an initial focus on European deep technology, including robotics and energy systems. The founders say the strategy is to build on Europe's strengths in engineering, industrial excellence, design and quality rather than replicate Silicon Valley. The firm is targeting approximately €450m for investments over the next three years, although that capital has not yet been raised. It also plans to raise around €40m initially for operating costs and seed investments, with most of that first amount reportedly already secured from the founders and other investors.

The platform has already backed Swedish energy-technology company Abundry, which applies artificial intelligence and decision intelligence to improve the performance of energy systems and unlock more value from existing infrastructure. Navisalma presents its work on Einride as the experience behind its operating playbook: technology, product, operations, customer experience, brand, design and capital are intended to work together throughout a company's development. The firm also lists projects or side ventures involving Legora, Greenely, Strike, Tandem Health and Moni on its website.
