Zero Zero Infinity's HoverAir Versa tops $230K on Indiegogo
What's the deal? Zero Zero InfinityDealroom has a profile for this one. Try Dealroom →, the company behind HoverAir, has launched the Versa, a flying pocket camera, on Indiegogo. The campaign has raised over $230,000, with 59 days left to run. Backing starts at $449 for the Pocket-Only version.
How it works: The Versa functions like a standard content-creator gimbal camera, with a gimbal camera, small display and on-device controls. Its Flight Kit adds wings with four propellers, turning it into a self-flying drone that tracks its user.
The specs: The 3-axis gimbal camera uses a Type 1/1.3 sensor and claims 17.5 stops of dynamic range. It records 4Kp60 video and 12-megapixel JPEG stills, captures full Open Gate video for cropping to formats such as 16:9 or 9:16, and can fly up to 36km/h and 15m above the ground.
Why now? Zero Zero Infinity is best known for HoverAir self-flying drones, including the Aqua, which it calls the world's first waterborne self-flying drone. The Versa is its first pocket camera and targets a similar audience built around simplicity.
The signal: The Versa blurs the line between handheld cameras and drones, bringing autonomous flight to a pocket-camera format. Its expected mass production in September 2026, ahead of October delivery, puts execution and image quality at the centre of the product's launch.
