Try Dealroom →, a St. Petersburg, Florida-based consulting firm specialising in Restaurant365 implementation and restaurant operations. Terms were not disclosed. TRIS President Jason Gray will stay on to support clients and work with ContinuServe leadership.

What each side does: ContinuServe, based in Atlanta, describes itself as the middle market's single source to transform and run finance, technology, and HR. TRIS brings deep expertise across the Restaurant365 platform, covering implementation, optimisation, and ongoing operations.

What's the endgame? The deal expands ContinuServe's restaurant and retail practice beyond finance and accounting into broader back-office and operational functions. The TRIS team will join ContinuServe's Multi-Unit Consumer Market practice, led by Kars Stal.

Why now? Restaurant365 has become a key platform for operators unifying accounting, operations, inventory, labour, and reporting in one system. "TRIS adds highly complementary capabilities and deep Restaurant365 expertise," said Nate Medoff, chief executive officer of ContinuServe.

What changes for clients? Gray said customers will get "expanded resources, deeper expertise and enhanced capabilities," while keeping the personalised service they value. Stal said the addition helps operators "unlock the full value of the platform across both financial and operational workflows."

The signal: The acquisition reflects a widening market for specialists who help restaurant operators extract more value from software they already run — pushing service firms from pure finance work toward integrated operational insight on labour, inventory, and performance.
