Harvey targets $15.5B valuation in $500M raise as revenue nears $350M

What's the deal? Legal AI startup Harvey is in talks to raise at least $500 million at a $15.5 billion valuation, according to a person with knowledge of the fundraise. Lightspeed Venture Partners is set to lead the round.

Why now? The raise follows a revenue surge. Harvey is generating more than $350 million in annualised revenue, up more than 80% from $190 million in January.

Zoom in: Harvey has expanded from document review and memo drafting into custom agents for lawyers. In May, it released an open-source benchmark to measure how well AI models handle agentic legal work.

The signal: Legal AI startups increasingly want to own their models and their data. Harvey partners with LexisNexisDealroom has a profile for this one.
