Empirical Security raises $25M Series A for AI threat prediction

What's the endgame? Founded in 2024, Empirical builds tools to help organisations predict and identify threats in the agentic AI era. It will use the new funding to accelerate development of its two flagship products.
How it works: The company offers Foundation, a global cybersecurity model that monitors more than 18,000 exploited CVEs for threat prediction, and Radiant, a predictive engine that identifies threats relevant to each organisation's environment.
The signal: As agentic AI reshapes both attack and defence, investors are betting on startups that move security from reactive to predictive.
