River Markets raises $8.5M seed to bring prediction markets to Wall Street

What’s the deal? River Markets has raised $8.5 million in a seed round led by Haun Ventures. Y Combinator, Coinbase Ventures and Qube Research & Technologies also participated; the round closed in July 2026.

What’s the product? The company gives professional traders a single interface to trade across multiple prediction markets, combining software, data links and risk-management tools for larger orders. Its platform connects venues including Kalshi and Polymarket.

Why now? As institutions increasingly use prediction markets to hedge risk and trade on economic events, infrastructure for connecting fragmented venues is becoming more important. River Markets says its platform is on track to exceed hundreds of millions of dollars in annualised trading volume by the end of 2026.
