Allmade lands pre-Series A for its quantum dot diagnostics platform

What's the endgame? Allmade is developing a next-generation in-vitro diagnostics platform based on quantum dot light-emitting signals, in the works since 2025. Quantum dots are ultra-fine semiconductor particles that emit different colours by size; the company is combining them with bio materials for high-sensitivity diagnostics and precision sensing.
What's the money for? Allmade plans to accelerate commercialisation of the quantum dot platform and expand early revenue. Its lead products are rapid test kits for inflammatory bowel disease (Calprotectin) and colorectal cancer (FOB).

Minetta Brook co-chief executives Kim Ji-cheol and Koo Tae-hoon said Allmade is a "deep-tech bio company" combining quantum dot diagnostics with the market potential of non-invasive testing. They added the firm plans to continue support, including a TIPS recommendation for R&D funding.
Chief executive Oh Taek-gyu said the company aims to "wrap up the pre-Series A round without a hitch" and speed up commercialisation to accelerate its move into global markets.
