Try Dealroom →, will collaborate on autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for semiconductors, which MX Robotics plans to supply to customers in the second half of 2026. They will also work on overhead transport (OHT) systems, key equipment for chip process logistics.
MX Robotics plans to build an OHT test line at its Osan semiconductor centre in the fourth quarter of 2026 to begin technical validation and commercialisation with customers.
The signal: The deal reflects MXon's push to move beyond HMI and control equipment into logistics robotics, deepening its exposure to South Korea's semiconductor supply chain. "This additional investment will strengthen our control over MX Robotics while more closely combining both companies' semiconductor capabilities," a company representative said.
