What's the endgame? JC Biotech was already a subsidiary; acquiring the residual stake eliminates all minority interest and consolidates full ownership. The Nutrazyme funds, an existing wholly owned unit, will be deployed in one or more tranches, giving the parent flexibility on timing.
The signal: Both moves point to Advanced Enzyme tightening control of its subsidiary network — one through full ownership, the other by shoring up finances. Its shares last traded at ₹324.35 on the NSE, down 1.65% from the previous close.
