Young Farmers launches $1M Next Generation Farmer Fund

Try Dealroom → have launched the Next Generation Farmer Fund, a $1m+ initiative providing direct financial and technical support to beginning farmers under 40 who are adopting climate-smart and environmentally sustainable practices.

How it works. Whole Foods Market has committed to matching contributions from participating food brands and agricultural companies dollar-for-dollar up to $500,000. The fund is administered by Young Farmers and aims to reduce barriers such as land access, production costs and environmental disruption.
