Creditinfo buys Caribbean credit bureau operator EveryData

What each side brings: EveryData runs licensed credit bureaus in Jamaica, Barbados, Guyana, and the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union, plus digital lending tools, risk management, and data analytics for financial institutions. Creditinfo, founded in 1997, operates more than 30 credit bureaus worldwide.

Why now? The two organisations have worked together for years and share a common vision, said EveryData chief executive officer Kristinn Agnarsson. The acquisition folds EveryData into Creditinfo's global network.

What changes for customers? Creditinfo plans to accelerate investment across the Caribbean, adding enhanced technology platforms and expanded data capabilities for lenders, businesses, and consumers. Customers of both firms are expected to benefit from closer technology integration and shared infrastructure.
