Why now? The raise follows a Pre-A+ round completed in 2025 — MatrixOrigin's second major capital raise within a year. The new funding will accelerate development of its MatrixOne Intelligence platform, support global expansion, and help enterprises deploy AI at scale.

What's the endgame? Founded in 2021, MatrixOrigin builds the infrastructure layer for enterprise AI. Its MatrixOne Intelligence platform unifies data, AI services, and agent runtime on a single AI-native architecture, replacing the fragmented mix of databases, data platforms, and agent applications that most enterprises stitch together.

The platform now serves more than 100 enterprise customers across manufacturing, energy, healthcare, internet services, and semiconductors. By keeping AI within a company's own data boundaries, it also aims to support sovereign AI.

"Enterprise AI is moving from isolated experiments toward scaled adoption," said Huang Geng, chief operating officer of HAND.

The signal: At just over $10 million, the round sits in the bottom 16% of deals by size — a modest cheque for a sector where infrastructure spending is climbing. It reflects a bet that after the model boom, the next enterprise AI battle returns to the infrastructure that turns data into intelligence.
