Beedie commits up to $125M to anchor Vistara's new $500M fund

Strategy. The fund will provide hybrid debt-equity financing to business-to-business software companies generating more than US$10-million in annual revenue, deploying roughly US$20-million to US$30-million per deal.
Structure. Unlike Vistara’s previous closed-end vehicles, the new fund is planned as a permanent, open-ended structure, allowing investors to buy in or redeem their stakes on an ongoing basis.
Track record. Vistara’s fifth fund raised US$321-million in 2025, and the manager says its first three funds fully returned investors’ capital. The firm has raised nearly US$1-billion across five funds to date.
